So the garage is now most painted and floor installed I will try t post some pictures later. I also got my mini split ac sorted so now its nice and comfortable to wrench on my car. This project for me was tough because I had 20 pounds of **** in a 10 pounds bag. I was constantly moving things...
Your initial calculation of 7.6 yards was low. I think that threw your whole project off from the start. Should be roughly 8.27 yards with 10% for waste without stem walls. Also note when the ground isnt level you want to take a measurement at the highest and lowest point in the frame and take...
Hey guys curious if anyone here uses socket trays in their toolbox. I’m looking for a 6 piece metric only set. I ordered one from eBay only to find out I’ll have it in September. Don’t really want to wait that long or pay a arm and leg for some plastic. Any suggestions??

I got it sorted guys thanks for the suggestions. Turns out the air lock actuator literally slides/glides over the top of the ram bracket/body. I just had to clean the ram and surface all is good now . Thanks.

I don’t think it’s pump related but will check. I know noise travels and could be deceiving where it’s coming from but I will try to get a video of it. Not sure what you mean by slide blocks. This lift has metal wheels and bearings not slide blocks in the pit.

Hey guys I have a atlas scissor lift recently it began making some noises when lifting a vehicle. Noise starts after the lift is roughly 12inches above it initial height and continues all the way up sounds like a high pitch squeal. I have lined all the fittings and joint as per the manual yet...
Got a box I’m happy with. A little above my budget but still a steal at the price I got it for. Wouldn’t have bought anything else well maybe a macsimizer would be the only logical other choice.

I guess everyone has their preference. As mentioned once you get spoiled with a Snapon box its hard to find anything that comes close to snap on or mac. Not knocking it I read alot of good reviews on the USG boxes but I went to HF to look at some of out their boxes I guess im just too picky...
Only thing good at harbor freight is their magnetic glove box holder. Dont get me wrong they sell cheap tools. In my field, I would only buy something from them if i was in a pinch nad had to use it once, thats about it. Once you own quality tools like mac or snap on its hard to compare anything...
Yes currently summit has the best price on homak rs pro 72. Considering that. Also Tekton boxes look nice also however I’m I’m gonna buy a 60” box for $3500 might as well buy a Snapon for $300 more. So not really lookin at that. Only other thing I am considering is buying a used homak rs pro...
Thanks guys yes I ended up putting the compressor on the anti vibration pads I purchased yesterday with the hose. I had already laid the floor down hence why I wanted to removed the compressor from the pallet and also get the hose one before I moved it into position. Floor is almost finished...
Tanks guys pun intended. Ended up getting a cheap relocation hose made by husky has a ball end valve. Basically a 90 degree elbow with a 10” braided hose with a ball end valve on the end so I don’t have to get under it. Just need to mount the ball end valve to the compressor leg. Will probably...
No thats not my issue at all to be honest. I am pretty much dead set on a 72" RS Pro or a snapon or mac used box. Just looking for a deal. If something pops up for the right price ill try to grab it. Decided I rather buy something bigger than have to spend more the buy more storage down the...
Doesnt look like a snap on box. I think all their stuff is 16 gauge steel on the drawers and 14 gauge steel on the frame. Looks like some one misrepresented the box to you. Looks either really old or beat up for for $100 I guess its not a bad deal. Depending on what it actually is. Snap on...
