    New wrench set

Thanks for all the reply’s! I think I’m just going to rip off the bandaid and put them to use. Funny story I remembered about the metric set...when my local Sears was closing down years ago, the guy from the tool department called me and said they found this set of professional wrenches hidden...

    New wrench set

Thanks for all the reply’s! I may end up keeping and using them. Shortly after I bought these years ago, I wished I had found the ones made by SK. I always like the SK wide hips. Someone mentioned cross forces. Been using a set of them and double box ends for a while.

    New wrench set

Hello! I’ve been doing a workshop makeover and for years have been wanting to upgrade from an old set of Craftsman RP. I was set on buying Wright 950 to start, however, I came across some old Craftsman Professional sets I forgot about. In your humble opinion, is it best to sell the Craftsman...

    60tooth vs 88tooth?

The gearwrench ratchets are VERY nice! They are the only exception I made to having foreign made tools in my box. For that price you can get them at get them! However I also have the craftsman 84t in 3/8 and love it. Each to their own.

Now THIS is the way to display your tools for sale . . .

I'd love to find a sk set like that for $69! My local cl only has over priced worn out power tools.

I need a good basic mechanics tool set

I'll have to agree! While I prefer the GW ratchets to the Kobalt ones, having a lowes 10 minutes from me would be the deciding factor between those two assuming something should happen. Although if you use tools as they were designed to, "ideally" you shouldn't ever need to warranty a tool.

craftsman is going down hill...get over it

Agreed. I myself being new around here get tired of seeing new threads every other day about the same ********. Yes I'm not happy about SHC decision of outsourcing Craftsman, however I speak with my wallet. I will buy the USA Craftsman until they are all gone. After that time as past, I will...

    Husky Hand Tools

I have a set of four offset double box end metric wrenches I got from home depot (husky) and they aren't bad for the money. Granted they aren't near as nice as my Craftsman pro box ends US made, but for $15.00 the Huskies are hard to beat. The only con I have found with them is the chrome...

Confused about my recent Craftsman pro wrench find

Thanks for the welcome! In the past two months, I've beefed up my arsenal of tools which includes a 26 piece set of the Craftsman professional series Nos. I looked all over the place and all I could find was the Armstrong made. When I found that loose sk made at the flea market, I frowned...

Confused about my recent Craftsman pro wrench find

Thanks for the reply! It does look as old as dirt! I actually paid 2.50 for it. At first sounded high but figured it would make a great addition to the truck bag :bounce:

Confused about my recent Craftsman pro wrench find

Greeting to all! This is my first post as I've been a daily lurker for months. Anywho, I recently came across this Craftsman pro wrench at a flea market and I have never seen one like this. Judging by the box end, it appears to be made by SK. Perhaps someone on here might have a little bit...
