I was thinking of just putting a plate under the base of the low side but my question remains, do I need longer than 5.5" wedge studs? I'm afraid I won't have enough stud into the concrete.

So you are saying to lift the arms up one click on the locks then check to see how level the arms are?

The low side has not been drilled yet. I have not set that side so I could explore options.
