I have been using the 60 watt equivalent FEIT Electric 5000k LED bulbs from Costco in both of my garage door openers (currently $20 for a 10 pack), and have had no issues with garage door opener radio frequency interference.

This turned out to be fixed under warranty through a 3rd party, but thanks all for the information!

No problem. It didn't say anything in the instructions about flush-mounting the lights, as chains are included to hang the fixtures. Then again, I don't remember reading that you couldn't flush mount the fixtures. I'm not sure if heat or anything else would be a problem with flush mounting.
