I realize this is an old post but I am researching how to locate hoist before I pour the floor. Hoist instructions call for a recommended 6″ of concrete atleast 3000 PSI. The install instructions state to drill a hole 4.5 inches deep. Why would I worry about puncturing the pex or routing it...
