Find a marina nearby with lots of sailboats. More than likely you can get someone there to let you use theirs. I have one SOMEWHERE from when I used to work on boats, but I haven't seen it in probably 20 years. Definitely get one of the bolt-cutter types. MUCH quicker work.

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I had ZERO luck getting my local guy to replace slides on my KR-660B. He says it is "too old". Part # is 8-3388ALRS according to the SO website.

I gave $400 for mine. Dirty, ugly, missing a piece of vertical trim, and a few sticky drawers. I thought it was a good deal, until my Snap On rep decided he wouldn't warrant the 4 sets of busted slides @$70 each.
