The problem I had with the HF vise grips is that soon after I used them they stop locking, and I found the curve in the jaw to never be right. It is just an uncomfortable tool for me. I soon went and bought a pair of Vise Grips made in the USA. Other items from HF have done well so far...

I own 31 years of tools of all brands Mac, Matco, Snap On, Williams, Cornwell and Craftsman and I can honestly say the HF vise grips with the orange handles are the worst tools I have ever owned.
