Me too - I don’t use knee pads so often, but regularly use those high density foam kneeling pads for working on concrete as well as gardening.

Pretty sure they were indeed assembled from AMC kits by AMI in Port Melbourne, in a factory that later formed part of the Toyota plant from the end of the 70s. I used to own a 1970 Rambler Rebel wagon with the 360 V8 that was built in RHD form in this plant - it was pretty awful but I really...

Geoff, the link seems to go to an empty cart. Was this the kit you were looking at? A quick scan of the web didn’t return any better options.

No expert on Rota here, but I have the little brother version of that box and it is built like a tank - as well as a couple of mechanics chests bought by my father in the 60’s.. I’d suggest it might be from the 60’s or early 70’s, maybe even loaded on to the truck by Geoff. From memory the...

Yep, I have built or modified a number of trailers with brakes over the years, mainly electric for the reason you’ve mentioned, but also to allow ‘fine tuning’ via the brake controller for a range of tow vehicles in the fleet - and to eliminate the need to flip over the lockout when reversing...

Ahh, the bit of the question I missed out was "Does your engine have the spin-on oil filter conversion?" First thought would be the chunky bits are gearbox related and hopefully large enough not to get pumped around. Fingers crossed this is the case and the engine can be freshened up without...

Great looking trailer for the mini - even looks like it would be fairly easy to fit stake side pockets for even more functionality. I can't see a brake master cylinder - presumably it has electric brakes? The VIN plate should (maybe) show the tare and gross weight details..
