    Why Snap-On?

The way I look at it, when I break a wrench the truck guy comes on a certain day, he will hassle free give me one, I take one to sears.. "Well it looks like it was abused" or "Well we can't warranty that" (at least from my sears).. Well :monkey_po :bs: :moon: that's how I feel about that.

    Let's see your toolbox.

Got this the other day, working on getting it organized how I want... Having drawers twice as deep as you're used to makes a huge difference!

    Snap On box question

I actually had bad luck with that... I asked all the tool guys what they had used and the prices were stupid high.. A classic 96 for 4200.... no way. Have been looking on Craigslist, and haven't seen any that really peaked my interest... Anyways, I bought the box.. So all the awesome deals will...

    Snap On box question

I've been looking for a bigger box lately, and today I asked the Snapper guy what he had. Well he said he would make me a deal on a box To my dismay, it actually seems to be a good deal. It is KRL7022CWBN. The price it has listed is $7,435, well he dropped it to $4,936, so pretty good drop...

    Lubrication for a DIY'er ratchets

I'm with dutchgray, any oil you have will work.. For non sealed ratchets with a low tooth count I actually like thin grease.. Makes them quiet, smooth, and pleasant to use. Otherwise, I often get some nice smelly 80-90w in there!

What about specialty stuff? Like a special puller, or do you leave that to the shop? Just wondering if I should try buying some specialty equipment

    borrowing tools in the shop

I lock my box at night not because stuff will be stolen but I will come in the next morning and my tools scattered.. And I just had to steal that quote for a signature!
