Have a look at the HMRC website. If the part is being replaced/ repaired under warranty, duty shouldn’t be charged. After all you have already paid it once. you’ll still have to pay vat and postage though

Don’t think you would notice If the heater matrix was open to water flow if you didn’t have the fan blowing. I don’t notice in in the cobra unless I switch the fan on. try it and see. if you need a valve Car Builder Solutions have a selection.

Looks good, good idea to get a separate area for welding/ painting. I would lay the floor with Ali chequred plate though- its a bit less flammable. My welding is more like blob technology, produces a fair amount of sparks, last thing you need is the floor catching fire whilst you are wearing...
