The work in progress... It's approximately 4' by 8' and built with standard 2x4 construction with insulation. It will also serve as a warmer than the doghouse place for the pups.
My shop cat Bandit. He is digging his new home with skylights. My previous shop didn't have any windows.
And... Yes, you do see PVC airlines in the shop. That's the very first thing I removed. I have some nice 3/4" Max Air piping to do the job right!
YES! I am finally getting to do that very thing. 33x40 for the project car, 30x30 two car for parking. 24x40 under construction for the woodworking tools. I fought the sawdust on the project car/grease on the wood in a single 30x60 for years!

Dewalt 18Volt 4 tool kit $199 through 03/16. Used $15 off $50 coupon from other thread and got it for $198.72 total.

The Simon XTi is a good system http://www.interlogix.com/intrusion/brand/simon-xti/. I was told several of the big alarm companies (ADT etc...) use this product line and Honeywell (not sure of the series). I put this in my shop after a recent break-in and have been very pleased with the...
I liked my peg board until someone swiped everything hanging on it one Friday night. Now everything is in a locked toolbox and I have an alarm and camera system.
Before the theft I really liked having all fo my combo wrenches hanging on the wall for easy access.
EDIT: And for metaldad...
