Best value in a torque wrench that is torque to yeild capable

I just purchased the gearwrench also says KD tools on it, its the 3/8 version, ran me $229 and free shipping on e-bay. I am going to use this on manifolds brackets etc, it also does angle torque. One thing I need to note on these is when it says 100 ft pounds that is the max torque...

    Cutting UHMW

I also had great luck on cutting this stuff with the table saw. I will caution you on one thing though, if you use the cheaper job site type saw's, with a brush motor, make sure you blow out the motor often, I wiped one saw motor out all ready, this stuff is also a great insulator, and when it...

    Best inexpensive rivnut tool

One more thing, don't even try the HF nutserts! If you are not a drinking man you will be after you buy, and try to use them, never had any luck with them, and the frustration is just not worth it!! Again just my 2 cents worth BoB

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

My snap on bars fit right into the sleeves! But I guess they would since it's the bluepoint cart, made by snap on! Find a Electrician you know and borrow his knockout punch, if you want to put these in, it only takes a few minutes to make the holes, for the sleeves with that style of punch, and...

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

Just noticing everyone is having the same problem I did when I first bought my blue point cart 10 years ago, the long handle pry bars won't fit in the top, and still allow the lid to close! I talked to my snap on dealer at that time, and he ordered me some sleeve's out of tubing, the top of them...

    lathe purchase opinions

I looked at a lot of lathes before I bought mine. I ran an ad on craigslist to see if anyone had the precision Mathews, so I could run it, before I purchased it. I got a response from a guy in town that changed my mind about buying it. Matt the guy that imports them is a great guy, I talked to...

    History of the painted stripe?

Mine is Gray 4' down on all the walls, I used HD floor paint on the gray, and white above. I did it for 2 reason's, The gray does not show the dirt as easy and it is easier to clean without smearing whatever is on it IE Grease Etc. ,than white paint!

    Moving an Air Compressor

Last on I moved I pulled the motor, and pump off, it still heavy, but able to moved in 3 pieces with a couple of guys. If you keep it together as a unit, all I can say is do not under estimate how top heavy it is! Its worse on a vertical tank unit of coarse. But even strapping it to a heavy duty...

Working in the heavy equipment business as the Field Manager, had a couple of my guys change out the differntial gears in a Wagner log stacker, now remember this is a huge differential, on a machine that will offload an entire log truck in one grab. About a month later when the customer was...
