Thanks! Oddly enough, I believe I'd signed up here several years ago, and just forgot about it...lol. As far as the vise, I've watched a couple restoration videos, and I could see from the start that the entire rear jaw/body assembly swivels on the base.

I stumbled across this thread while looking into my bench vise. I acquired it from the Navy before I got out, and a recent discussion on a motorcycle forum (of all places) prompted me to look into the vise a bit more. It's in rough shape, but with some clean-up I think will be solid. Looks to...
