Vintage Xcelite or other Nut Driver Sets

I've had an Xcelite handle for about 40 years I can smell this thing even when it's in the case. No other tool I own stinks like this.

    The Milwaukee Chuck

I have the Milwaukee problem (sickness) too, but never had any issues with the chuck slipping. But honestly I use the impact driver as my go to drill.

    Workbench

My vise is a 2" clamp-on vise. I don't do any heavy work with it. But in general since the bench top is clad with a sheet of stainless steel I don't see a problem with the MDF holding up. I didn't want to drill holes in the bench to mount my 4" vise. I don't think MDF is a great material...

    Workbench

It is brushed stainless steel over a solid MDF base. It is very heavy. It's better looking than it is functional, it scratches easily. I keep a roll of tool box liner or a heavy towel handy to lay down if I do any serious work on the top.

Well, I have lots of vices....Oh not those? I do have one that is a little larger. It doesn't like to have its picture taken.

Top three drawers are non-functional. The bottom drawer has a small notch in the back (maybe 4" X 2")

    Sink Project

The sink is in the garage restroom. I have another sink in the garage for the messy cleaning from there. The "container" on the side is actually a roll of paper towels. I am working on a better solution for this object.

Build schedule - looking for feedback

I have to agree with the opinions here. We permitted our garage conversion and 4 car garage addition to our house in August of 2018. It wasn't until November that the slab was poured and framing started days later. We just received our final approval in August of 2019. We contracted the...

The price thing..... A phone call I got today

Quoted from a very wise and great American Benjamin Franklin: "The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten." Caveat emptor!

    110volt RV Hook-up from 3 wire 220Volt

I need to add a 110-120 volt 30 Amp outlet for an RV. I have a seldom used 3 wire 220v circuit that I would like to tap to get the 110v. I know if this was a 4 wire 220v I could easily grab one side of the hot legs and make a 100v for this but since I only have a 3 wire circuit I need do...
