Lift table or lift truck or hitch hoist to get stuff in and out of wagon

Yeah I think these scissor lift table carts are the way to go. Just wish they weren't 100lbs themselves... :)

Lift table or lift truck or hitch hoist to get stuff in and out of wagon

So like some of you here I find myself in the position of buying or selling random dense objects. power tools, etc. Sometimes I need to bring the truck, but a lot of times they fit in my wagon which I prefer for driving long distances. Often, there is no help for lifting said object, so I'm...

Found a deal on craigslist? - List Here!

Raleigh / SW Durham Vintage Blackhawk Master Mechanic toolbox (top?) and random tools $150 Didn't see any ratchets but the box looks good and there might be some cool pieces: https://raleigh.craigslist.org/tls/d/vintage-tools-and-vintage/6590373036.html

Hand Tools Chapman Mfg. Miniature Ratchets

Came across these while putting together a motorcycle toolkit. Surprised no one mentioned them before, nice stuff. http://www.chapmanmfg.com/

    BIG Metric Sockets?

Yeah, I checked their site, nothing metric from Bonney that big, and Wright's are 12pt and not cheap... At this point I'm looking at Proto - either in name from Zoro or guess from McMaster...

    Unior tools

Oh *that* thread. I swore off that thread when I realized I could replace my current toolbox with glorious european craftsmanship for about 10x the price. (but it'd be worth it?) That said, anybody carry Unior in the states?

    Lathe Id?

Agreed - looks like the southbend 16" where I take classes though this looks smaller. Decent but this one looks like it's gonna need some major cleanup. If you can check it out and make sure the ways are in OK condition, probably worth $200 and some time...

    Unior tools

Nice set - hadn't heard of Unior before, but am in the market for large metric sockets and that set is intriguing. How long is the flex handle?

    BIG Metric Sockets?

Suppose you're right, I think I must've read too much marketing copy and assigned Flank-Drive or whatever to all 6-pt sockets...more flank, the better. Still, something about the 6pt gives me more confidence...

    Best calendar?

I've bought the bikeexif calendar 2 years running, probably going to go for #3 in January (I never actually buy them until that year). Best inspiration going (for my hobby of choice...) http://www.bikeexif.com/motorcycle-calendar-2013

    BIG Metric Sockets?

OK, so maybe not that BIG, but anyone have favorites in the >24mm category? I'd really like to find a good set of 24, 26, 30, 32, etc. particularly in 6pt. I'm really nervous about rounding fasteners this big... I found the Beta 920A series but they're hard to get here and don't seem to be...

Whats the best spray on penetrating oil?

Freeze-off, though that's only because I needed it NOW and couldn't get Kroil. Ed's Red is another homemade that's supposed to work really really well, though it will eat all plastics: Equal parts ATF, Kerosene, Mineral Oil, Acetone -- add lanolin for rust preventative and to keep your skin...

    best type of soldering iron??

Weller WES50, but then again, I do most of my work at the bench...

PLEASE IDENTIFY THIS - AttN Machinist’s

Yep, tilting cross slide rotary table. I've often seen the ones with the rotary on top as mostly used on drill presses, as the bottom X-Y becomes redundant with the mill's axes, but the tilt is new to me. Pretty sweet little thing.

ID this vintage toolbox? Boeing? 30's?

Well, I'm sold. Need a custom size toolbox and searched and found this from a couple years back: http://garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=59280 I love the organization on that one, but the construction with the angles on this one is amazing. Looks like the riveted aluminum style is just...
