Know that vises made of 30,000 tensile strength are basiclly cast iron. Vises listed being made of 60,000 tensile strength are cast steel. Learn to keep it lubed, don't use it for an anvil. A good vise is a good investment. Recoveryman

Manwithtools: When you spec the thickness desired, be sure to specify that you want that thickness after being rolled. Many of these installers will lie big time. Recoveryman

Another old time way to get rid of gas fumes in a can is to stick the filler pipe of the gas tank over an exhaust pipe of a running engine and let it run for some time, I'm thinking maybe an hour. I've seen it done a number of times. Recoveryman

Clemson13: Congrats on a great score. You are fortunate that the drawers are not deep, that way you get more drawers. Deeper drawers are much easier to come by. Recoveryman

Marklapp: Does your hutch have drawers, if so, lighten everything by removing as many drawers and anything else. I moved many large Kennedys by removing drawers and the rest is childs play. Good luck. Recoveryman

Another thing missing is tools for the hardie hole (that square hole near the anvil point. They would be chisels and fullers and other pieces for forming metal. Google tools for a hardie hole. Good luck Recoveryman
