Depending on where you live I would go with the 24" on center trusses. Snow load and wind load always scares us. We also use hurricane braces to attach the trusses. We don't get hurricanes here but a tornado will take your roof and relocate it just as easy. You can get the trusses with center...

I'm pretty sure it's some sort of ailment. In my case I'm building a building to house my smoker I'm building right now. All in the quest for that perfectly smoked sausage.
