    Odd Electrical Problem

Yes, 1 20A breaker, can’t speak to wire size, and it is run in conduit as far as i know. Probably done 20+ years ago, so I’m trying to sift through this problem as i go.

    Odd Electrical Problem

Detached garage, and just a circuit is out here. Power comes in under a patio (so that’s a major fear is having to tear that up).

    Odd Electrical Problem

Panel is in the house, and is roughly two years old. No other parts of the house are effected currently. Although there is an exterior light in the house that is now out, although I’m not positive what circuit that’s on (inherited the house so still sifting through problems as i go)

    Odd Electrical Problem

Was all the lights, both LED and fluorescent, and now don’t have lights on either side, and no power to any outlets either. As far as the ground vs neutral, just giving you what my friend said. Breakers are being replaced Monday, and possibly the panel as well. Original electrician who did it...

    Odd Electrical Problem

Experiencing a very strange electrical issue in my garage recently, and while i have an electrician coming to hopefully fix it, looking to see if maybe it’s something small i can fix. Was doing some stuff in the garage the other day, and started to experience what i would call ‘strobing’...

    Do fluorescent lights ‘cycle’?

Whole unit is, at minimum, 15 years old, and likely older. So I’m leaning towards just replacing it at this point. Nothing else cycles on and off, just this. Probably best to just go with new LED at this point. Guess i have my weekend project for this week. Thanks guys!

    Do fluorescent lights ‘cycle’?

They don’t shut off, but light is noticeably dimmer. This is the first time I’ve really noticed the change in light as i was always preoccupied, but have noticed the sound. I guess my real question is, should i be looking at replacing it?

    Do fluorescent lights ‘cycle’?

As i sit in my garage drinking a cold one after a few projects, I’m noticing that a very old fluorescent shop light i have seems to be ‘cycling’. The ballast hums, and produces normal light. After awhile it will stop humming, sound like it shuts off, and light output dips slightly. Is this...

    Will my ceiling handle this?

I don’t have trusses like you, just standard roof joists. When i had my Cobra kit, i used two winches mounted to the joists to raise the body (one front and one rear). Tripled up the 2x6’s and lagged them in. They didn’t run to the top plate, but higher on the peak. Worked very well. Body...

    Just curious "SAE or "American"

There are two types of countries in this world: 1) ones use metric and 2) the one who put a man on the moon. 😂 I’ve always referred to it as “SAE/Standard”.

    Binford Tools 15 drawer cabinet

So picked up my new 15 drawer cabinet today. 52” wide, 15 drawers ugh oh oh. Lots of room. Bottom drawer fits my Milwaukee drill and driver standing up, and circ saw laying down. Will post how the set up goes as i move in. It’s friday and a cold beer is calling my name, and didn’t have any at...

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

I remind her everyday how special she is. My last golden died at 4 years old of cancer. Sudden, unexpected, and after a lot of money in surgery. Shea (after the stadium) has been amazing dog. She’s quirky, a pain, she’s old and cranky at times now, but she is amazing at showing love, comforting...

    Let's See Your Garage Dog

Figuring out how to post a pic from my phone, but my 14 year old Golden (yes,’you read that right) is terrified of my garage. She’s been exploring it more since I’ve cleaned things up. She’ll come in and sit next to me, but if i don’t continuously pet her, she runs out. She’s a great pup, but...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

So may be a little off topic, but looking for opinions on corded vs cordless (Milwaukee is the only tools i buy). Anyway, i have an older sawzall that my dad used and then gave to me (removeable chord, steel box) and it needs to be replaced. The set screw won’t stay tight to hold the blade in...
