Seriously considering this Snap on KRL1163

Silly Philly, are you in Canada by chance? You said have a mastercraft tool box, which likely came from Canadian Tire. Also noticed the pictures you posted say Telus, which is phone carrier in British Columbia, Alberta & Ontario. Assuming that price is in Cdn dollars, $3400 is a steal...

    SK Customer service

The tool peddler that I brought all my SK impact sockets from years ago has gone to gear wrench. I have mailed in 2 broken sockets to SK, its a pain & costs enough $ to send from Alberta. Cant find anyone that is a SK dealer locally, so it my only choice.

    Robertson vs Phillips Screw Story

For years I love putting Roberston screws into wood crates that came from outside Canada that have back for a core. Typically the crates come phillips or torx, I laugh on what the person on the other ends is thinking. WTF is this, haha.

    .498 Air Hammers!... Again

Tech I used to work with for years has the CP717. Too expensive for me, an independent tool dealer sold me a Rod Craft version for half of the CP. I see Rod Craft doesn't sell it anymore. But it looks just like the Astro, CP, Jet versions I seen. This air hammer has been a fantastic tool...

20 gal Parts washer, new to me, What goes in it.

Been working with "Varsol" for the past 20 years in all types/sorts of repair business. Use at home in a unheated & heat shop. It doesn't freeze, yes its get down to -40C or -40F once and awhile. It does dry out your hands for sure, I wear rubber gloves for that reason. I never seen Varsol...

Anyone tried Milwaukee Fuel 3/8 impact?

I have the 3/8 fuel with the 4.0 battery(18V). I'm happy with it so far. My will undo fasteners that I have torque to 100ftlbs. It won't handle much more than that. Couple guys @ work have SO 14.4, there about the same. I know there less V's, but the price is a lot more. My tools & boxes...

    Drilling through rebar in slab?

I installed my 2 post hoist couple weeks ago. The instructions said to use a "core hole bit" for chance of hitting rebar. I needed a 3/4" bit for the anchors. I rented the drill & bit from local rental place. The bit kinda looks like a really long hole saw(different teeth), about a foot...

Where did you get your metal cabinets

I looked into some metal cabinets made in my province. Just wanted storage type closets. I have a span of 14ft. Went to placed called cabinets by Hayley. They want $9600 for just cabinets with doors/shelves, 6ft tall, 2ft deep. Way too much $ for me, time to start looking for used stuff...

    Got started on our 28x30

I'm going to ask cause I don't know. What is the issue with clay? Where I'm from, the grass is taken off, then the black dirt/top soil to get to the clay. Then clay is used to get above grade, then either slab or grade beam is poured. Please fill me in, thanks.
