    A dentist once gave me a handfull of old dentist drills, said I would probably find a use for them in the shop. Lon story short, I cut a slot in stuck nuts or sometimes two slots then a chisel or slot screw driver makes short work of removal. Just a neat trick.

    Not certain, but at the Hill, could you pour an extension maybe 4 foot wide reinforced to support the post weight. Could be cheaper. Also possibly cut the inside edgeof the existing slab and poor reinforced post supports for other side of lift. Just my thoughts.
