I had a similar problem with a cabinet door. The only thing really worked was to pull the doors off, frame them in grooved 1X4 and rehang.

I still have one and use just as was mentioned for eye-bolts, hooks and such. Work OK on square head bolts and nuts. Otherwise....an excellent paperweight.

All in know about this is that I have had one shop panel recessed and one surface mounted. I will NEVER-EVER-NEVER have a recessed one in a shop again. If you are like most shop type kinda guys there is going to be some nifty new gadget you will absolutely have to have. I know, I have a whole...

I was about to the same thing when my electrician came up with a better idea. I fortunately have an over head power line entering my property and passes about 50-feet from the garage. Rather then extend electricity from the house, (about 50-feet) he had the power company put in "new service"...
