    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT The "Glendora Garage"

Totally agree. I read/hear about people raving about massages and it just freaks me out. I, too, had to have it during PT for my sciatica and it was my piriformis muscle. Spoiler alert.... It's on your ****. :willy_nil

    Sam’s Club -VS- Costco

Costco's self-check is, obviously, not as convenient as Sam's Scan & Go. But, we always use Costco self-check (with one exception noted below) and, yes, sometimes they'll offer to scan. It's handy. The only time we don't use self-check is if we're buying something that needs to be picked up -...

    Sam’s Club -VS- Costco

Same here. About 4 years ago, we decided to try Sam's as they had some things in stock that Costco was regularly out of. BUT.... Only because we found a deal for membership at $20/year. There are VERY few things we buy at Sam's but they're typically more readily available at Sam's than...

Below 265 SQ/FT Nobody’s tool storage, maintenance & recreation lair.

@Nobody-named-Olli - Those bin housings are beautiful. Very nice work on the pavers and the whole concept. Over here, those washers are called "Finishing Washers". I used them when mounting the pegboard over my workbench and on a garage wall. Mine were just stamped steel - not anywhere near...

A future project: a sleep deadman switch

If you're open to meds, talk to your doctor about magnesium and Trazodone. Trazodone is technically an antidepressant but commonly prescribed to help with sleep issues.

    Switch Distance from Shower

We have two switches right outside our shower - 6 inches from the door. One for the light in the shower and the other for the exhaust fan just outside. Both fed from GFCI receptacle. Light above the tub is also on that circuit.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

So, you keep all your lanterns at the brewery shop? Not at home?

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I always keep a supply of these on hand for tasks like that. They're super handy for so many things in the shop and house. Gotta be the Gel Elastics. They have other variations that are not suitable for garage use.

Help Me Build Some Big Drawers!

I did that with 3-4 drawers on my workbench. It uses the space much more efficiently. Been that way for YEARS. One drawer is a triple decker - 2 sliding trays.

That's a lot of putty! If there are really bad spots that you have to redo, maybe get some wood epoxy. Good that you're reviving it and not tossing in a landfill.

I made a tool to install my AC clutch!

You're young. Your time will come. I long ago tossed it but I had a combination wrench bent like a pretzel to reach something on some car I had probably 50 years ago. Not pretty but it got the job done.

    Between 705 & 1200 SQ/FT The 'NOT' a garage, CABIN build.

That's actually kind of surprising. Our whole house was done in 5/8" when we remodeled and added a 2nd story in 1993. 16" OC.

    Aren't you glad it wasn't 5/8"?
