I’m looking to get a better bench vise. I like the Wilton 4600 but I can’t seem to find where it’s made? I read some wiltons are made in China these days? Anyone have experience with this model? (Or a suggestion on something similar)
I want something about 5.5-6.5” jaws and I like the “extra?”...
I’m not saying it will effect the usefulness. I’m saying it shouldn’t be there.
I have Quite a few quality wrenches. Proto Sk a few snap on. I know they are much better than the HF stuff. Not the point in my opinion. But that’s why I started this thread. Wanted to see what other people’s...
Nope. I don’t buy tools that don’t get used.
The whole point is that I have bought plenty of harbor freight/hardware store brand tools that don’t have any flaws so why is it acceptable for quality tools to have them?

If it wouldn’t bother you, that’s fine but don’t act like someone is in the...
Exactly. I don’t mind putting scratches and dings in my wrenches but quality control issues under the chrome of a wrench is something else. They aren’t bad and I could live with it but I’d rather not. I called and customer service is closed due to covid19.
Hey guys,
Just joined the forum. I just got a 15pc. set of Wrightgrip 2.0 metric combo wrenches. They seem quality and I’ve had a few older Wright tools that have been great.
I inspected all of the wrenches and the 22, 19 and 11 have some pretty noticeable imperfections in the chrome. On a HF...
