It’s been too long since I’ve updated this. Thanks to bob for the kick to get back on this. I’m still working on this and had it all clamped you and ready to go and my welding helmet died. Took almost 3 weeks to get a replacement with all this hoping on. I’m back on track as of a few days...

Started stripping the Record 74. I’m missing the pipe jaws that go into it but I can get a reproduction one on eBay. I’m also missing the set screw for holding in the anvil (it’s stuck tight!!) Let the process carry on. [emoji3]

Hi Folks, It’s been a while since I had a new vice to post and now I’ve got two. The big beast is a Record 25 and in its jaws is a Record 74 auto vice. Really happy with them. A bit of tidying up and they will become invaluable.

Great CAD work so far. I’m a fan of the cardboard aided design. [emoji1303] Can wait to watch this develop. Good luck with the project.

Welcome back, Wow, Where does the time go? I popped over to my buddy Rob today. He featured earlier in this thread around the wood top construction. Thanks for all the help today Rob. Pints will be had soon.... Got a few parts drilled, tapped and rounded thanks to him and his amazing...
