That’s a fantastic addition to the beast of a bench.
Not a weld insight which I admire even more so. [emoji1303]
What other additions are going to included on this multifunctional bench, I can’t wait to find out.
It’s been too long since I’ve updated this. Thanks to bob for the kick to get back on this.
I’m still working on this and had it all clamped you and ready to go and my welding helmet died.
Took almost 3 weeks to get a replacement with all this hoping on.
I’m back on track as of a few days...
Started stripping the Record 74.
I’m missing the pipe jaws that go into it but I can get a reproduction one on eBay.
I’m also missing the set screw for holding in the anvil (it’s stuck tight!!)
Let the process carry on. [emoji3]
Hi Folks,
It’s been a while since I had a new vice to post and now I’ve got two.
The big beast is a Record 25 and in its jaws is a Record 74 auto vice. Really happy with them.
A bit of tidying up and they will become invaluable.
Ah yeah, another Irish version of a welding bench.
Can’t wait to see the progression.
Drawing looks fantastic.
I might need to steal back a few ideas for my 2.0 bench. [emoji6]
Roll on the next update
