The guys poured a concrete floor on Tuesday 12/4 I went there today and discovered that there is a 1/2" hump in the middle. What is the best way to correct this problem? The room is 16x16 and it looks like the hump covers about a 4x4 area. Thanks!
The crawl space was flooded from Hurricane Sandy and all the insulation had to be removed (was done the next day) We need to replace it now and was wondering what type should we go with. Some have said the spray foam would be best in case it gets flooded again. Any & all help would be...
i have had 18"x18" blk/gry porcelain tile down on my garage floor for over 3 yrs now with zero issues. Easy clean up with no stains, looks as good as the day it was done. I also stepped up and used the better flex bond thin set. Great Job! Enjoy!
I found this Steel building co. in Hemmings Motor News. Price seems decent and ease of construction is attractive to me. Wondering if anybody has one of their buildings and or has built one themselves. I'm looking to put up a 30x12x50 building in the near future.. Thanks for any input
The roof is way past its prime & the current 2x6's are 2.5'oc with only 3 collar ties for the entire 25' run. I want to do a total new roof so I have no issues when I finish the inside. The current building was put up by shoemakers back in the 50's. Its lasted this long but I want to update it...
I am replacing 15' of roof rafters and ridge. Should I upgrade to 2x8's or stay with the 2x6's? In time the whole roof will have to be redone/replaced. The shop is 25' wide and the roof pitch is 8/12. Thanks in advance
I jack up my Corvette & Lexus LS430 all the time on my porcelain tile with no issues for over 3yrs. I also have a Quick Lift on one side with no problems.
I have had 18" black/grey porcelain tiles on my garage floor now for over 3 yrs. I am very happy with it, very easy to keep clean and looks as good as the day I installed them. The only down side is slippery when wet.
