Above 1200 Sq/FT TX Homestead and Shop Build Log

Find a local, ranch fence guy, they have the tools and experience to do in much less time and end up with a much better product than you'll ever be able to duplicate. They'll use a skid-loader with a impact hammer to set posts and corners. They can almost always use the work too!! Learn on the...

Above 1200 Sq/FT Out on Quaker Road

Thanks for catching us up during your retirement!! Looks as busy as ever, farm, ranch life I guess. Happy to see the "little's" getting to be the "not quite so little's". My "little's" are now 23 and 26 and beginning to fly the coop. It goes much faster than you think. Happy to hear you are...

    Between 485 & 705 SQ/FT 30x24 Modern Style Detached Garage Build

First off, great project! Are the lines on the foundation actual cracks? Perhaps a remnant of switching trucks during the pour? The failure at the door looks a bit remarkable to me. I'd guess they could remedy it during the slab pour with a bit of attention. I know there are several really...

It's so neat to be able to see how you've chosen to solve the inherent problems with storage, home ownership/renovation, financining, etc over the years. Hats off to 1. Keeping it; 2. Making it into exactly what you want it to be. Outstanding effort and lovely results!

    Whitewater Garage Build

There are flooring companies that specialize in overlays, I've attached a link you might find interesting. I am sure there is a system that uses a pump to move that overlay material into place. Heck you could get crazy and do a colored glass addition that when polished up looks like terrazzo...

Wow! The power of nature. I'd heard about lots of rain and this week, snow in the Willamette Valley though had not been following the weather too much farther north. Hope you and the neighbors have it sorted. The addition, outstanding as usual. It does speak to the old "it's never big...

Dude! That is outstanding! Sorry about the furnace board, it happens, glad nothing more serious. Happy to see things progressing at such a rate, are they likely to get the sheathing done before the rain Friday?

Looks great! The one puddle forward of the plumbing looks a bit deep. Might see if they'll level that for you. Could be enough to impact future flooring decisions. Otherwise puddling looks minimal, if it's square and level side to side, front to back its a win!
