We used to use these thin metals disks that you hammer staple through. They worked very well. Then you just shingle right on over them.

No. That's how long it takes the paint to cure. Read the directions on the side of the paint can for recoat. You have to back roll all spraying. It works the paint into the imperfect surface, otherwise it would just sit on the surface and not adhear properly. There are some other reasons but...

When you clean the sprayer you use water to push the left over paint out of the hose and the machine. No waste

I use 2 8' 4x4s with 1 large bolt through the top to make an A. Then hang a come along off the top of your A. Hook the other end of the come along to the post and easily pull it out. If the ground is dry, saturate it with a hose. I pulled a dozen post set in concrete by myself.

We would just drop the roller setup into the 5 gal bucket with the paint, then cover the top with plastic, wrap with tape and you're good overnight. We always washed latex brushes every night. Our brushes were 30 to 40$ so you like to take care of them. I feel like a brush left in the fridge...

Keep in mind that you have to back roll or back brush every time you spray.
