does everyone use a laptop/desktop computer in their shop

They do NOT need to be on the same breaker. I currently have one connected to the router and 4 more scattered around the house, both upstairs and down. I have used them in almost every room of the house. Not sure about range. There is probably something in the specs somewhere. Will take a...

does everyone use a laptop/desktop computer in their shop

I believe he was referring to the product at the following link. http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=533 You can find these kind of adapters from several manufacturers. I happen to use Netgear adapters in my house and my garage for our desktops and wireless just for the laptop and the kids...

Small Garage - Table Saw Dominates the Space, Ideas?

I have a Delta Contractors saw and it is taking up more than it's fair share of my 20x23 which I mainly use for working on the vehicles. Used motor Oil Storage-NEW GUY POST

I have 2 of the typical black pans you use to drain oil into. I then transfer the oil to a 5 gallon gasoline container that I bought just for this purpose. It is easier to seal, takes up less space and is easier to transport when I take it to the auto parts store to dispose of the oil.

So Lowe's told you NO on an air reel...

I asked about price matching at my local Lowes, they said no, I thought about it for a bit and I purchased it anyway. Wasn't a big deal to me. The reel seems to be of decent quality and should give me years of service in my home garage.

Anyone see Jay Leno's garage on TV?

I was fortunate enough to actually be able to visit Jay's garage last year on a trip to CA for a clinic at Meguiars HQ. We were hoping to see Jay but, he couldn't make it that day but, he did call in. He evidently has cameras in the shop that he can monitor from his home. His collection is...
