    Troubleshooting a Schumacher battery charger

This is off the topic but if it's only surface rust why not put clean pea gravel in and shake it up?

Stand Up if You're a Craftsman Diehard (Not the Battery...)

Ok, I know I'm new here and don't have a dog in this race. At the risk of me being banned, how about instead of killing an entire thread, thereby punishing those who enjoy and wish to continue talking about that topic, just ban the user who is causing the issue. The one who obviously shows up to...

Stand Up if You're a Craftsman Diehard (Not the Battery...)

Well, You are entitled to your opinion. In this case you're dead wrong. The reason I knew of the different codes was I learned it on this site just before posting for the first time. Before that I had no idea there were codes, or that Craftsman was outsourced. It wasn't a 'bit' as you describe...

Stand Up if You're a Craftsman Diehard (Not the Battery...)

Hi everyone, I'm a Craftsman fan. I've always owned Craftsman and never had an issue getting replacements for worn, or broken tools. I did, however make the mistake of posting about C-man in the general tool section only to get flamed from small minded people. Glad to have found this thread. I...

    Take Apart A 12" Crescent

Look on the bottom for a set screw that goes up through the thumb wheel. Turn that out and the thumb wheel will come out allowing the lower jaw to slide out

    6pt vs 12 pt sockets

I've always thought 6 pt sockets were better than 12pts. Having more material seems to make them stronger and less likely to slip. Now I see guys getting rid of their 6 pts replacing with 12s. What do you guys think about all this?

****, So the guy who posted the Rip Van Winkle crack yesterday hit it on the head! I need to research more about the tool industry. I haven't bought new hand tools since the 80's.

    Vise-Grip customer service

Hi, I'm almost new to this board. I do have a charred *** from yesterday's debacle but I have thick skin. Another customer service story for you all. When I was in Sears getting ripped for my socket exchange, I noticed they had a three pack of vise-grips for $25. I bought it and upon reading...

What? A Chinese replacement Craftsman socket?

Really? This was my first post on this site and I get a flame from you? Nice. You know, I'm really sorry that what I posted isn't up to your obviously superior interests. And just so all of you who have told me to 'Get used to it', yesterday was the first time I received a chinese replacement...

What? A Chinese replacement Craftsman socket?

So, I take one of my 3/8 drive 5/8th in. sockets for warranty replacement. It was a G series 6 point shallow. Three Sears stores later, the guy comes up with a replacement. The first two could not find the number and told me they could not replace it. B/S. So, the third guy finds one mumbling...
