I called Valspar/Cabot and they do not recommend any other stain or paint. Looks like I'm just s.. out of luck.

Thanks but I've found that calling a sales rep to get advice on the best product is circular logic. Of course "their" products are the best. I was hoping someone on this board had some experience they would be willing to share.

So on my new 40x60 shop, I sealed it with Cabots #1000 waterproofing. Looks to be a water base silicone sealer. I was hoping it would dry to a nice uniform look but its just splotchy and flat. Is there anyway to paint or acrylic seal over this product to get a shine? Side note: There are so...
