Thanks for the lesson on hydraulics. I will watch for operating temp on the ironworker. I can’t believe we are only a few weeks away from winter shutdown...! The summers fly by!

Good to know. The dealer said it’s important to watch and make sure the stroke limiter is set properly so the pump turns off at top of stroke. If not, the pump could over heat.

Thanks for the kind words, all. Anyone wire an ironworker? Looks like 8/3 wire then just plug into welders 30 or 50 watt outlet?

I’m tired of moving 2,000 lbs. of steel pieces around the shop! It’s time to build the welding table it was purchased for... Blanchard ground 1” think top, 4” sq tube legs and 3” sq tube frame to start.

    Welding Table design

I just purchased a table with the holes and love the ease of layout! I also own a 1” thick top Blanchard ground and I’m going to drill half the table.

Only problem with the epoxy floors - is that rubber tracks from the track steer stained the floor over the winter storage. The heat from the radiant floors must have been too hot where I parked the machine. Lessened learned, now I use a stip of carpet under rubber wheels ove the winter.

16 gauge nail gun. ...and thousands of cuts! I had a home builder stop by this weekend and he couldn’t tell it was installed after. Maybe he was being nice? Thanks.

Finally started the welding table build. The metal was purchased three years ago (never enough time).

I sourced some amazing wood for the loft flooring - a vary old brewery (1830’s) in Ohio. The brewery’s floor boards were massive! We milled (5) 3/4” boards from from just one floor board. Boards delivered.
