Kudos to Shea at All Garage Floors

Going to pile on to this one. Shea and the site has been a invaluable resource to me for my new build (1800 sqft). I finally landed on densifier and a sealer by Concrete Solutions, due in large part to his help. Thanks, Rob

How thick can I apply 100% solids epoxy?

I'd reach out to the vendors for the epoxy, the usual suspects are very helpful.

How thick can I apply 100% solids epoxy?

Are you sure there are depressions in the concrete or just tire material that has been left behind after parking in same spot? Meaning those spots keep water due to the tires leaching for lack of a better word into that spot.

    Contractor recommending 3" slab?

just poured my 6" slab and had mesh on chairs along with rebar in strategic places and added fiber. I hear you on the pull it up ****, hence why I asked for chairs. without the mesh real ***** to get the pex mid to lower slab. Definitely didn't want all metal on top of the pex, even when...

    Contractor recommending 3" slab?

3" is sidewalk depth in the states. 4" in min for most residential basement floors/house garages. If doing radiant heat you want the mass of a 6" slab. my 2 cents. I'd want 6" all day with mesh and fiber.

Any Real World Success Stories With BallistiX?

Appreciate your response. sounds like I should go ballistix for both. I don't do any welding, so am really going this route vs. epoxy due to ease of install and don't have to worry about damaging the floor if working on cars and a 10mm socket drops.

Any Real World Success Stories With BallistiX?

Thinking of using Ballisitx, but should I densify first and then use a sealer? Looking at ghostshield combo or if there is something else to consider please opine.

Looking for a garage builder in Maryland and potential thoughts on Morton buildings

I think the perma columns or similar is going to be the bare minimum for me. I don't know if they set those in a mix to fill in the hole or do they just back fill dirt on those? I'm trying to decide between a poured footer and block foundation or the perma columns. which essentially boils...

I've reached out to them. I spoke to Lee, he was very helpful about the process and whats needed specifically for my county. need to see who of the contenders will do piers or cement columns. the more i think about this, the more i like the idea of more cement vs. less. foundation estimate...

Looking for a garage builder in Maryland and potential thoughts on Morton buildings

any thoughts on using cement piers vs. the coated/encapsulated posts for this type of project? I've seen the posts of mine was direct buried and its been fine kind of thing, but its always good, before its not and then goes south real quick. thanks, rob
