    Escape FROM my dream shop

Today was one of the most taxing days for me. I walked out of the house and saw Laura's car in the carport and my immediate thought was "Oh, Laura's home", and then reality set in. I had to get rid of Laura's car. I went to a car dealer and was overwhelmed by state of car dealers today. I came...

    Escape FROM my dream shop

I got back to the Grove this afternoon. Etta the dog is visibly upset with an "Empty" house. I have so many projects on the books and I should prioritize them but one item that is not really important is calling me. We had planned on sinking a shallow well for irrigation at the raised beds and...

    Escape FROM my dream shop

Thank you all so much for all your thoughts, prayers, and wishes. I left Cape May this morning and am currently parked next to an airstrip for the night. I'll get back to the Grove early tomorrow afternoon and see how that goes. My mind is a raging torrent, rivulets of thought cascading into a...

    Escape FROM my dream shop

So it has been 2 years since my last post in this thread. I needed a digital break although I have been lurking and keeping up with what’s been going on here on GJ. After my last retirement I was lured back into the workforce by a former employer. I spent a year and a half line boring excavator...

Anybody find it difficult not to buy tools?

That made me spit my coffee out laughing. Though 90% on this forum probably don’t get it.

I’ve seen less than stellar reviews of these cheap hydraulic crimpers but I needed to do a bunch of 4/0 cables so I gave it a try. For $49 I was pleasantly surprised and call it a winner.

    Who Remembers Enco?

I bought my granite surface plate from Enco during one of their free shipping on anything promos. I sure do miss Enco.

Anyone using a compact, cordless bandsaw?

I have had the M12 version for a few years and if it died tomorrow I would immediately get another one. It's quite a bit more saw than it appears to be and the blades hold up well.

SWAG off road makes a table for that tool. My son bought me the table for a gift and I thought I would never use it, but I was wrong. I have not taken the chamfer tool off the table since I got it and I use it a lot.
