I used a 30" breaker bar 1/2" with a 14mm hex to crack free the bolt, other side was a 24mm wrench on a nut. I switched over to my 17" ratchet 1/2" with a 14mm hex socket, that's when it broke. It looked like 3 bolts had red loctite on.

I broke my 17" flex head 1/2" drive ratchet yesterday, pawl snapped in half. I picked up a 17" non-flex this morning until I can get the broken ratchet warrantied. I worked in the forklift repair industry, you get to see what your tools are really made of.

I picked up the Craftsman wrench sets from princessauto today, I am a mobile mechanic, I have wrenches in wrench rolls but hate having to unravel the roll to get to a wrench. These sets should serve me well.

Got all the tools I need for work, my work I don't really need a lot. Got all the tools for home that I need to work on pretty much anything. Don't really need much right now.

Never understood the purpose of have a 3/8 head in a 1/4 body. I got 1/4 sockets that go up to 15mm, plus a 1/4 ratchet that is 12" long As posted above the Astro nano ratchet comes in 2 lengths - 8" and 12". I am going to have to steel that idea of heatshrink on a ratchet!
