    JobSite Generator for trailer

All of the Champion brand generators I have run performed flawless. They have quite an following in rv and off grid for "cheap" units that hold up. Sent from my SM-S767VL using Tapatalk

    Rubber Garden hose

I found Stanley Fat Max hybrid garden hose a few years ago at TSC. The two 50' I have are holding up well, and super flexible.

Need a heater recommendation for Christmas gift

If you go electric, the round disc infrared heaters have no moving parts and heat people and objects vs the air so work well at keeping you warm in an area too big to heat. The quartz would do similar, but I like the parabolic dish infrared.

    strap wrench recommendations

I used the handle from a strap wrench and an old serpentine belt when I needed to spin large hydraulic filters. If you have an old serpentine around, might see if it will work with your handle.

    Maglight LED conversion?

Terralux makes several conversion kits for them. It may be worth your time to check candlepower forums for more options.

    Gas pressure washer.

Honda GX series engines are pretty much the gold standard for the engine. You also need a quality pump behind it. I've had good experience with General brand pumps, though I also hear a lot of praise for CAT pumps. Northern tool sells quite a few that are Honda/General Honda/Cat combos. Mi-T-M...

    Working without a garage

As a mobile mechanic, I've turned wrenches all kinds of places in various neighborhoods and towns without issue. The one place I thought was questionable (at the curb in a neighborhood of 250k houses), a cop stopped and asked what the customer had tore up now, and went on his way with a wave and...

    air compressor

The unloader is not working. There should be a small copper line coming off the check valve fitting over to the pressure switch where a little tang sticks out and depresses a needle valve when in the off position, releasing the air off the charge line from pump to tank. Thats the likely culprit...

Anybody remember these, they are called screwballs. Before cordless drivers came along it saw a lot of use.

    air impact wrench power question

If you use an impact with higher dynamic torque, than the amount of torque it takes to twist or shear off a fastener and that fastener is frozen in place you are more than likely going to be practicing your drilling and extracting skills. There are times where a 1/4" hex impact driver with a nut...

Ingersollrand W7152 brushless impact wrench vs Milwaukee 2763-22 M18 impact wrench

The 2763 is the previous generation high torque, the 2767 is the updated version which produces a fair amount more torque and is more compact. That said the latest ingersoll w7152 claims a hair more torque than the milwaukee. If you already have or will have m18 tools the milwaukee is a good...

    Reddy Heater shuts down

Its been around twenty years since I repaired several of those, they were Desa branded but Desa made them for a lot of others same design. I remember the carbon vane kits, a little air filter element, and a spark plug came in the service kits we had. I don't remember the pressure spec but seems...
