High leverage long reach diagonal cutters - Snap on vs Knipex vs Channellock

Depending on what you are going to use them for the Knipex mini bolt cutters may or may not be worth considering.

What socket size to change drive size...

Bolt size vs. drive size seems to make a lot of sense, however 50% diameter seems low. Why not use a 1/4'' socket on an M5 bolt with an 8mm head or even M6 bolt with a 10mm head? I think if the bolt size is smaller than the drive size you should be fine.

Anyone know of a blind bearing puller set with 6mm collet

Never tried it myself but apparently people pack the inner hole of the bearing with wax or grease and use a punch. The wax or grease will drive the bearing out in the opposite direction of punching. See

    Metric drills

1-4mm in 0.5mm increments plus 5-12mm in 1mm increments will get you very far. 3.3 for M4 is pretty useful, too. Next I would add 8.5 for for M10 and maybe 6.8 for M8. I'd rather go bigger than 12mm than fill in more 0.5 increments. This is from my experience as a hobbyist, not as a professional.

Wife's tools? Need some kitchen knives. Good value?

My preferred method is hand sharpening on a water stone. Mostly because I prefer doing things by hand without powertools. There are lots of videos on youtube, you may want to search for "carter cutlery knife sharpening". You can learn the technique with a cheap combi stone (~10$, 150-300 grit)...
