Another picture of the Howard Iron Works vise found in an old workshop that's been in my family for generations (so, no, it's not for sale, sorry). Upon further investigation I found on the end of the pivot mount it says the patent has been applied for, so there's no part number to search for...

I found a long forgotten vise in a slightly less forgotten workshop, and this seems like the right place to get feedback and/or suggestions. Both sides read "Howard Iron Works, Buffalo, NY." The sliding jaw is cracked but the lead screw still functions- heck, it's still shiny with grease...

That's just rotten. Glad to see someone's got his back, though.

How do you do it? Do you have a nice rack to hold the drills with slots for batteries, or is there a drawer somewhere that keeps it all nice and cozy?
