    I havent been on here in a while..to reply to the last post it was an IH Super A..i ended up selling it but i'm restoring the Ford tractor.. I've decided to convert the basement of the barn to a 3 stall garage. i'll need to reconfigure some of the support beams and have the dirt floor dug out...

    i 've been thinking of adding more supports to the lower level..it's probably best if i get an engineer out there to tell me if it's strong enough to hold 2 cars..like i said though, these barns were made to hold tractors and farm machinary..so, maybe it is strong enough as it sits now, to hold...

    yeah i'm a 55 ford guy..and i think this tractor is a mid 50's..i did some research and they still make new parts for it as it is one of the best tractors ever made. i've going to sell the 48 international..hope to get enough to get me a decent miller welder and maybe a 60 gallon air compressor.

    I'm moving from having a 2 car garage to this old barn from the 1800's..most of it was rebuilt but it sits on the original Stone Rock foundation, it's built into the earth so there's a ground level section which right now had a Ford Model 600 tractor..since it's a dirt floor, it's not very high...

    I'm buying a house with a really nice Barn that i'm going to use as my shop. It's hard finding pictures of other Barns that are hot rodded up. besides Buickfarmers barn are there any others? I need some inspiration and a few tips..
