Don't worry about the location of the lock. It can be installed directly above a wheel. Mine would only move about 1/2 inch before contacting the bolt. No reason to mount it with 4" of clearance as far as I can see.

One door is 8 feet wide, the other is 16 feet wide. The 8 footer only weighs 200 and change, and they recommended not doing the 16 foot wide door! Now that I look at the photos, you cant see that the door on the right keeps going out of frame right! Keith
