I love my welding table but it is too thick 3". How to cut down?

That has to be the coolest table I've ever seen! My mind went wild with possibilities of different uses for a table like that. I'd say keep it the way it is and make room for it. If I had that table and you had a feather up your nose, we'd both be tickled.:ROFLMAO:

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Yes, I remember. It was a moment of jealousy, clamp envy if you please! I've always wanted to build a strip canoe myself, just never had the time or place to work on it. Now that I have the place my knees are so bad I can't use a canoe, so no use in building one. I'm just a jealous on...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

You do realize you could have bought a canoe for what you have invested in clamps.

    Interesting vise stand concept

Never ever sell yourself short again! I've seen where people have called you an artist in other threads and you always downplay the statements. You are an ARTIST, no doubt about it! It takes vision to be an artist and vision you have! Rod

    Vise/ Bench Grinder/Small Anvil...Cart? Anything I'm not considering?

Davejo, I like your solution! I did something along the same lines for my band saw. You can't see them in the picture, but there are small wheels on the back end and when handle is pushed down it will rock back on the wheels for easy relocation. It works great!

Post up your Powr-Kraft and other Wards tools

Spotted this in an online auction. So far no one has bid on it. If I can get it for $3.00 I may just bid. Would it be worth it? Collectable or not?

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Try taking a garlic tablet every day. I started doing that about 6 years ago and the bugs don't bite anymore! I just buy the cheap ones from WM and it works.

What do these fit? What are they?

I'm assuming these are some type of cutter for maybe a milling machine, not sure. I placed a bid on an online auction, the lot had lots of odds and ends of different tools. I only bid $7 and figured I'd get out bid. Well, I'm now the proud owner of about 20 of these cutters in different sizes...

    Greetings from Arkansas!

Just like Mattie Ross in True Grit, I live near Dardanelle in Yell County. I have already learned some new stuff just by poking around the forums. Seems like a good place to visit. People are mostly kind and very knowledgeable. I did see a few smart a** remarks, but not as bad as other forums...
