    Between 265 & 485 SQ/FT Two Car Garage Makeover by Rorin67

Thanks, guys. Appreciate the great comments about the '67. It's been such a part of my daily life in SoCal for the last 15 years that I think it will always remain with me. That's why I had to give it a proper garage! I did indeed restomod the '67 heavily, as the car was no where near...

    RaceDeck or DIY epoxy

Another option is from GarageFlooringLLC - their HD Trulock tile 12" x 12": https://www.garageflooringllc.com/coin-tile/ I used Racedeck (great product!) on my first garage and HD Trulock (also a great product!) on my second garage and could barely tell the difference between the two products...

Need help with layout/organization of 22x32 garage

I was gonna say you can use the space above your garage door for storage, but that's out... I go by the same motto many on here do: "The floor is not a shelf"

My Man Cave - Laminate flooring in my garage

Nice work - looks great! My garage was 1/2 covered in laminate flooring just as you describe, as the previous owner used it as a home office. I used it to park the car and the laminate held up surprisingly well for the 3 years I used it that way. I think our climates are similar, so moisture...

    RaceDeck or DIY epoxy

I prefer for my garage to be a (1) working garage first, and (2) showroom second. So, yeah, I want to have my cake and eat it too, which I can do with the Racedeck or Racedeck-like tiles (check out Garage Flooring LLC for their TrueLock HD Coin tiles, which are so similar to Racedeck tiles)...

    SwissTrax or RaceDeck Help!

Trulock HD coin tiles from Garage Flooring LLC is a third option and similar to RaceDeck. Ask me how I know. ;)

    Vinyl Baseboard

Spray foam does sound like an unnecessary mess... I ditto the use of some type of 6" board (not 4"), as the board just looks a lot nicer than the rolls of adhesive vinyl. Here's mine with 6" baseboard.

Race Deck with a plugged floor drain?

The floor is pitched to run to a drain in the middle of the floor. But the drain no longer drains, so the water will puddle. That's what I'm seeing here.

    Redoing my garage

Thanks, guys - you're all very complimentary! The '67 has been my daily driver in L.A. for over 15 years and over 100,000 miles. It's a lot of work, but it's a lot of fun! I'll re-iterate my recommendation for interlocking tiles. Ahashmi - I would recommend that you actually call any of the...

    Redoing my garage

Fun project! I just finished my 2-car garage remodel, so I've recently been there, done that. Mine kinda looked like yours to begin with as well. Some questions for yah: - Why "recessed" lighting (which may not have great spread patterns in a garage)? - Have you considered LED flat panels...

Advice for 55 year old garage floor (tile?)

We see you have a window high on the wall. Just open the window to ventilate the garage. That's precisely what it's there for. Now go get that paint for the cinder blocks!

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Thought I was gonna take the Chopper to work today, but it's battery didn't like not being used for 3 weeks, so I rolled it back into the garage and put it on the trickle charger. Took the cage to work instead.

Racedeck/tile ideas for just half the garage

That garage and those sweet vehicles deserve a complete and full floor. Justin's products are great (ask me how I know), and the price only hurts once, so go for the whole floor. I can already see a checkerboard design in light gray, dark gray and some blue mixed in for your floor - it would...
