How much do you trust Liquid Nails?

^^^ This It's how I do it, works well ,easily removed or modified. Doesn't leave a mess behind. Hammer drill and sharp bit are key. Not hard at all.

garage stereo - ideas or post your setup

Onkyo receiver bought new in 1987. 4 Dayton audio 6.5" bookshelf speakers, and a Dayton audio 8"powered 80 watt sub, all from www.parts-express.com last Christmas. Hook up the iPod or Pandora from the smart phone, and away I go! Sounds great for what I have in it. About $200 in speakers and 1...

"Nobody has time to do it right the fist time, but everybody has time to do it over." Just something I remember my father said when I was a kid.

Craftsman grey drawer paint color ?? Also ? about US General box

Yes it is a really dark color that matches the drawers almost perfectly on mine. It is called black magic, but is a really dark gray color. If anything it might be just a tick lighter than my drawer color, but not much, if any. I have a box from around 1992 with red box and dark gray drawers...

Craftsman grey drawer paint color ?? Also ? about US General box

I stumbled upon a color called black magic at Lowes, and it is made by Olympic. The paint is latex, but they may be able to whip some together in an oil based enamel. The color is a good match, as I used it to paint a bunch of wood shelves.

Dealership or independent shop for work

That is exactly what this guy did. Got the written estimate from Ford, paid 50 to get it. They did the dye test and pinpointed the leak to the head. I even thought it was the rear main leaking because of the large amount of oil he was leaking. Not trying to bash the dealerships, but you...

Dealership or independent shop for work

Long story short. A friend I work with has an 03 F-250 4x4 with 5.4 auto. Bad oil leak from passenger side cylinder head, was told at the dealer cost would be 1500 plus machining of head. This quote was for ONE. Took it to a local shop with a good reputation, quote was also 1500, but that was...

    New guy from Pittsburgh

I am impressed by how many people are on here from the local area. Must have something to do with the weather we get here, which is goofy, to say the least. I do feel welcome here, and thank you. South side brings back memories of the "Southside Crawl" which was fun, but hope I never repeat it ...
