Yes it is a really dark color that matches the drawers almost perfectly on mine. It is called black magic, but is a really dark gray color. If anything it might be just a tick lighter than my drawer color, but not much, if any. I have a box from around 1992 with red box and dark gray drawers...

I stumbled upon a color called black magic at Lowes, and it is made by Olympic. The paint is latex, but they may be able to whip some together in an oil based enamel. The color is a good match, as I used it to paint a bunch of wood shelves.
