I don't post very often but i thought i would this time. i wanted to surprise my wife with custom handrails for the front steps on our new house. first i needed an anvil but i didn't have the extra cash to buy a real one so i fabricated one that would serve my purpose.

liftedtrucks, I have that same tackle box sitting in my shed. I inherited it from my grandpa along with all his other fishing gear when he passed several years ago. It even has all his old gear in it still I believe. Regrettably I never seem to find time to go fishing anymore since he passed away.
I had a similar issue on a friends car this weekend with a control arm bolt on a BMW 330. We were installing a complete suspension kit and the nylock nut on the inner control arm bolt unscrewed until it got to the top of the threaded post and just would not go any further. The spot it was...
My wife never comes in the garage either. I think it took about a month and half before she asked where her garden cart was. By then it was rebuilt, welded and painted black. I blamed "those darn scrappers" for stealing it and told her she would have to use the wheel barrow until i got her...
I built this cart a while back. I wanted a cart that kept everything together and contained rather than three carts plus all of the accessories. I though I was being pretty smart with my garden cart recycle but now i see A**holes garage had the same idea. I wonder if your wife was as mad at you...
Here's a few pieces I've built for family, friends, customers. I don't keep to many pics at work.
This is a platform bed that my wife has been asking me to build for us for about 8 years. It seems like my best customer is always the last order i have time to fill.
I just celebrated the 17th anniversary of my 21st birthday. When your 21 for life it's easy to remember. It might be a little strange when my 2 year old pass me though. lol
Here a couple pics of of our pups. All three of them. They are the best kind of dogs, pure bred mutts from the local shelter. The two fury ones are 8 and 9 yrs old. The bald one is 2. His mom brought him home with out asking me but I'm pretty attached now.
Here's a pic of my main bench. Almost all of it was built out of scrap except for the drawer slides, and castors. Everything else was laying around my shop. Being a pack rat pays off sometimes.
I have both wood tool boxes and the overpriced metal boxes in my garage. I actually prefer the wood boxes because like you i enjoy building them, but also because you can configure them to be exactly what you want. I've built a few different ones for my garage including a motorcycle table...
I thought I would say hi for the first time. I've been a long time lurker and now a first time poster. I've been reading along for a few years now and have thoroughly enjoyed all the great builds and idea's. I built my 32X32 pole barn about 9 years ago and have done my absolute best to over fill...
