any door guys out there, need advice on entry door

Measure from the top of the door down to the top of each hinge location. Make sure you also specify the hinge size (3.5 inch or 4 inch), the bore measurement doesn't matter since you will be replacing both doors, just say you want standard height. Measure from the inside of the frame on the left...

any door guys out there, need advice on entry door

Shouldn't be too big of an issue. Go to Home Depot, pick out a fiberglass door style that you like, have them order it with the dimensions you need and hinge placement you need. If the doors need to be cut down, fiberglass is one of the easiest types of doors to do it to. If you go steel, they...

    entry door step-down: removal?

What about the saw hammer method for only the areas you need removed? Where the stool pushes into your work bench and in front of the door? Then you wouldn't have to remove the whole thing?

DYI bed liner. Spray or roll on?

I've sprayed Raptor liner on several trucks. I've used it to line the inside of an old jeep and I've done a custom spray on the front of my Tundra as a rock chip guard. I highly recommend it. The whole kit with the spray gun and hardener can be bought for about $150 ish. Spend the time on the...

    Affordable Tube Bender

Sorry, I had to plug this product. A family member of mine makes them out of Wyoming and they are great for the guys who want to bend up some tubing, but don't want to go all in on a full bender. He also makes a notcher to go along with it. For the price, it is a great setup and I wanted to pass...

Thanks guys. For some reason I thought it was 3 phase because of the 4 pin plug. I'll check the plate and the manual and hopefully have more info soon.

    Hobart welder power problem

I was given a nice Hobart Handler 180 by a family friend and I need some help. It seems that there is a 3 phase power supply on this welder. Can someone verify that for me from the pictures? Second, I want to wire this up in my garage, but I am unsure of what path I should take. If it is 3...

COST OF PVC DECKING vs P.T.

My company has sold both Trex and Timbertech in the past. I love it when other people buy it as the margins are so high. I've used it on decks I've built over the years, go with PT. I hate everything about the composite decking nowadays. There is no such thing as a lifetime deck and 30 years...

    Leaving this air compressor on

The more and more I think about it, I'm thinking I might just include an air shutoff near the compressor. That way, if there are air leaks, the tank will still remain full for next time use and it won't blow out an air line overnight.

    Leaving this air compressor on

Would I be okay if I have this Husky 26 gallon air compressor in my garage with airlines hooked up to it and I left it on? I know it stops filling the tank when it gets to whatever psi I set it to, but I wasn't sure if it would be bad for the compressor if I left it on all the time. Husky 26...
