I have a complete set of Matco impact sockets but i was only using a 3/8 butterfly gun to get some nuts from the exhaust when i was doing a head gasket .. Ive used husky sockets, craftsman and grey pneumatic and never had this issue before

I was using 6 point sockets and it was really frustrating to get the nuts out.. I was also using air tools with regular sockets (gearwrench)

Theres is no doubt Snap On is a better brand by far than GearWrench but theres is some stuff that is pretty comparable in quality and that is 1/2 of the price or even more. I just wanted to ask you guys if it was worth spending the extra money on sockets since im kinda new to the automotive...

Well I can get the snap on socket set of 24 pcs for 225 i believe or something like that which is like 45% off but i wasnt sure if i should still Spend that money on just sockets ..thanks a lot for the feed back tho

I purchased a set of mid size socket set of GearWrench and I really liked them and then i decided to purchase the deep and regular size socket set Metric from .. They're good the only thing is that sometimes they tend to get stuck on the bolt.. As if it was just a bit Bigger than the bolt ...

Thanks for the feed back guys.. What about the snap On sockets vs the GearWrench sockets ? I cant really tell a difference between the sockets just yet. What do you guys think? Are they worth it? The 6 point socket set 8mm - 19mm
