Sorry, all I dropped the ball. We have been in the house now for over a year. We moved into the house in late October of 2017. It all came out fantastic. We really love being here. We now have a concrete driveway to house and to the shop as I got tired of the gravel REALLY fast.
I'll get some...
The shop gutting was finally installed yesterday.
The cabinets in the house have also been installed.
The trim carpenters are there now and will be for about 2 weeks. I'm probably looking at some delays as the subs are behind on other jobs. Now looking at the end of October for...

The ceiling should be painted this week and cabinets are scheduled to go in Friday. We are meeting with trim guy this week as well.
They have not ran electrical to the shop yet...
Sorry for no recent updates. We sold our current house and have been busy moving into a tiny apartment. We will be in it for a couple of months until the new house is complete. They have finished the drywall and will be sanding and texturing the ceilings this week before paint starts. The shop...
I guess I have been slacking. More pics!

Thanks!
Thanks! My guttering still has not been installed so waiting on that.
The weather has actually been very good lately. The house is dried in now so let it rain!
Good luck with your build. 1500 miles away would make it challenging. Hopefully we will not have to do the motorhome thing...
It has some interesting options. Power windows too. No rear defogger however. Not sure what you are asking about the number of bulbs. The fiber lines run into the back of the headlights and the turn signals on the front. The rear monitors two rear tail lights and the license plate light.
Thanks for following along. I was surprised as well. They installed almost everything for the walls while it was down. They even installed soffits and vents.
And don't say the "t" word around here. Too many of those damaging storms.
The roof is going up. They may have the house dried-in by the weekend. I talked to the GC and asked if the completion date was going to move up since they were flying along and he told me that they are coming up on some congestion with the subs so we will see some delays. Not really surprising...
Nice find on the lifts. I have a 4 post now and will be looking for a 2 post in the future. My current house is on the market now and I have listed the lift as negotiable since it would be much easier to sell it in place and install a new one.
Not much of an update. They raised the last wall and have everything braced up so I'm assuming that the roof is coming soon. I spent part of the weekend priming and painting the shop porch. Our current house is now on the market so been busy dealing with that.
