Lincoln Electric Certified Pre-Owned Mig Welders

Has anyone dealt with a Lincoln Electric Certified Pre-Owned Mig Welder? I am seeing some pretty good deals through Northern tool and other reputable sites and the deals seem pretty good. They say they still have the full 3 year warranty. Reviews from last year indicate they look brand new.

Above 1200 Sq/FT The Lab [Latvia]

Really cool building, this should be a good build My wife and I were in Latvia last year and loved it. Spent a few days in Riga old town, then went south to Bauska for the Zobens un Lemess metal festival. We really want to get back and would spend even more time there. REALLY good beer and food...

Garage New Build - Insulation of Walls, Ceiling, Vapor Barrier

I am in NC too, had the builder pack as much of the best insulation we could get in there and bought a whole separate heat pump. 30 x 60 and I heat / cool all year. Very happy with the results. The house is a 1984 modern contemporary so insulation was ****. My bill barely changed when we fired...

Can Polyurethane Rubber Durometer 75A be machined?

I work in the rubber industry and we freeze to machine. Liquid nitrogen is too cold and it will shatter. That's how we salvage molded parts.

    Lathe Project

Just my 2 cents - On my Enco I love the tray because I do tend to drip oil and chips and it does contain stuff. - I think the previous owners blocks might be to get that handle on the carriage wheel up a bit. At first glance I felt like I would whack my knuckles when rolling back after a cut...

    Post your Garage Cat here

This our shop cat Cleo "Bump" Brown. She is a relatively young rescue cat that recently came down with kidney issues way too early so we are doing the fluids too. She has always been a STEM girl and loves nothing more than to come out to the shop and do some "mechanicing". No fear of any kind of...

    compressor intake muffler suggestions please

I needed to get my intake outside because the room next to my compressor has my blaster and grinders and I wanted clean air. I just ran some 2 inch PVC thru the wall then hung a cheap car muffler on the wall. Last addition was a motorcycle air filter to keep the bugs out. Clean air and quieter...

So I hate to discuss this...

I recently bought an 18 year old used Eagle GLO-7000 which is now their 8000 lb lift. It has not seen a lot of use so in really good shape given the age. Pretty beefy construction and it has a roller kit so you can move it if you need to. If I start using it a lot I will bolt it down so it will...
