Some dogs are easy to train and others are stubborn. I trained dogs that I could command in everyday language and I have had dogs that only grasp the basics. Figure out your dogs capacity and if it is a chaser, hunter, stubborn or untrustworthy and either tie it up or screen it in. Good luck.
