Thanks guys. This seemed like a high ask for something in such rough shape and is missing the handle for the swivel lock. I'll keep looking. I'm picking up a Chas Parker 974 this afternoon that is in much better shape, but want a second vise for my basement bench too. The search continues!

I've read of various M2 and M3 vises being desirable, but I've come across a 604 1/2 which the seller says there are no M markings on the vise. Anyone know what it means if it doesn't have an M marking? Is this good as it predates M marking or bad as it's after they did so? This is a link to...

I’ve got a guy local to me who just refurbished this vise and wants $250. Weighs 100lb and 6” jaws that open to 22”. I can’t find a relative comparison for sale; is this a good deal or should be negotiating? Rob
