    Above 1200 Sq/FT Bald is Beautiful - 7k sq feet+ of Gruntledness

That hardened steel may not be a good idea. If you ever hit it with a hardened hammer, the steel can chip sending a steel shard who knows where - hopefully not into your eye or your leg. I would replace it with a regular steel plate.

Given that the rust appears to be within the seam, and therefore not accessible without separating the seam, I'm thinking that's going to have to come apart. I can't tell for sure, but it looks like you have some pitting on the door frame side of the seam. You could try rust encapsulators or...

New 24'x24' Bungalow Woodshop/Autoshop in California

Everything looks fantastic. It's nice to see some proper baseboards, door/window trim, and traditional styling in the kitchen and bath, as well as the use of high quality materials appropriate for an older home. Not something you see very often. I live in the northeast where older homes are...

    The Concrete Underground

Glad to see you posting again, and also to hear that you are well. This was and is among my favorite builds, and I'm looking forward to seeing this story completed.

    My UK barn renovation.

I find myself very envious of what you have there. The old stone house, the old stone barn, the Land Rover (yours?). You can find all of those things here (I'm near Philadelphia) but they aren't nearly as common, or as old. There are a few (very few) houses around here from the late 1600s, but...

Above 1200 Sq/FT Swiss Garage / Workshop / House Build

I've been following your 240Z restoration, guess I'll follow this one too! It's quite a bit different from most builds, especially from an American perspective. Should be interesting. For those of us who miss seeing updates to the concrete underground, maybe this will fill the void.

    Above 1200 Sq/FT Bald is Beautiful - 7k sq feet+ of Gruntledness

A little (pleasantly) surprised to read this. I thought I was the only one who didn't like the UUC SSK, everyone else seems to love it. It was one of the first things I did when I got my E30, figured it would be nicer than any of the OE options, after all, it was 3x the cost. Installation was...

    In-floor Scissor Lift Install

It's $3500 from the US distributor, but is there any reason I couldn't get it direct from EE? If it's cheaper to get it direct from EE like Paul did, I see no reason to purchase from HEI. Or am I missing something? I'm really considering this lift if I can get it for $2500 or so to my door...

    The Concrete Underground

I'll second Bib Overalls suggestion to use flickr. Another option is http://imgur.com - you don't need an account to upload. imgur is pretty simple to use and I don't believe it has resolution restrictions. Photobucket used to allow you to set what size your uploads would be resized to, but I...
